Interesting bit of Technology

But, the catchy part is where it shows a time lapse google earth depiction of an Iranian nuclear site about halfway in...

United States House of Representatives votes on...

Raising a question of the privileges of the House. House Resolution 744 and Roll Call Vote 699 during the 111th Congress - 1st Session (2009).

Near as I can figure, this is the one "rebuking" congress critter Wilson for calling Mao a liar. It is the only one that I see from today that I think it might be. If that be true, then it is unfortunate that Artur Davis, my representative, voted for whatever it is that this thing is.

Clicking on the Issue (744) doesn't allow me to read anything about it... So, as of this moment, I am just guessing. And yes, with the history of donkey and elephant calling each other names, I think this is political grandstanding.

Take a Trip on over to the Lone Star Parson

and give this a read. Especially, touch the link September 20, which talks about the Chinese flag being hoisted over the South Lawn of the White House. If that don't chap yer ass...

Interesting Commentary on the History Channel the Other Night...

"My Father & Mother were deeply impressed by the successes at home & abroad. Of course, they were fake. Hitler just printed money & pretended to be a miracle worker. But, at the time, the people didn't see through it. Also, Hitler gave the impression of being on the side of the military; and, they liked that too. So, I can't say that in the years 1933, 34 & 35 my Father understood Hitler's true nature; not at all. If that had been the case, then his behavior would not have been at all explicable."

Manfred Rommel answering the question: "What did Rommel think of Hitler?".
